Firestone Elevate Lap Sealant is used to seal up edges to provide additional protection from water getting in behind the pond or lake liner, as well as being a general-purpose sealant.
It is specifically recommended for sealing above termination bars when vertically fixing pond liner to a wall, and for around the edge of QuickSeam FormFlash and QuickSeam Pipe Flashing. Lap Sealant comes in tubes for use with a mastic gun making it easy to apply cleanly to seams and edges.
Firestone Elevate Lap Sealant, although safe for aquatic, animals and humans once dried, is a solvent-based sealant and should therefore be used with care. We would recommend you read through the Lap Sealant Technical Information Sheet prior to use; this covers all safety precautions to take and full instructions for use.
